Using Long-Form content to create Short-Form content for JumpCrew social media (1 of 2)

WHAT I DID:

✅ Identify the key points made in each video to use for creating an informative slideshow.

✅ A post that is optimized for Instagram and is visually engaging.

✅ Write copy for the caption that's authentic and consistent with the feed.

Thought Process (why I did what I did)

Instagram Slideshow

▶️ I went for an attention-grabbing post that’ll stand out when a user is scrolling through Instagram. The messaging is straight to the point. In other words, there’s no confusion in regards to what the post is about. It’s informative and visually engaging. I didn’t want to overwhelm the user with too much information in the other slides, so something that’s quick and easy to digest will keep the user engaged enough to consume the whole post before skipping to the next random post on their feed.

 

▶️ Adding the emojis and making it sort of fun and quirky was an aesthetic choice of mine because it’s 2021, who doesn’t use emojis? It also acts as a visual stimulant and provides brightness and color due to the post being a text-oriented infographic at its core. Obviously, adding the JumpCrew logo to the bottom of each slide was done for branding purposes. In addition, in terms of a psychological aspect, highlighting “3 Tips..” in the title/post serves as another visual stimulant due to great things coming in threes.
